課程概論：This course aims to introduce students to the professional ethics and qualities of a good interpreter and to train them to perform simple interpretation tasks. An overview of the practice and skills necessary on the way to becoming a conference interpreter will be given. Difference types of interpreting will be introduced, including consecutive, simultaneous, escort interpreting. Students are required to practice the skills taught in and after class, to build up the fundamental skills. The objective will be to equip student with abilities of an aspiring interpreter.
